BACH STUDIES; MENDELSSOHN TRIBUTE Beloit's First Congregational Church is a beautiful building with many rooms for exhibits and a large gathering area suitable for displays, silent auction, registration and socializing. Across the street is a green park. Parking is perfect. Travel: Beloit WI is on Interstate 90 between Chicago and Madison. It is on the border between Wisconsin and Illinois. The best airport is Chicago O’Hare (ORD). Van Galder Bus Company runs every hour and a half between O’Hare and SOUTH BELOIT, ILLINOIS, which is our stop ($25. One-way). We will have transport at the bus stop, which is a McDonalds by the interstate. Madison, Milwaukee and Rockford Airports are very accessible to Beloit if you wish to rent a car to get to Beloit. Lodging: Dorm rooms are available at Beloit College for $25 per person per night. Couples may reserve a double with two single beds--$25 per person. Meal plans are available also, as listed in the charges. You must reserve the rooms with your registration for the meeting, not directly with the college. For more comfort, rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express by Interstate 90 on Highway 81, Beloit WI. You will need a car to get to the meetings—7-minute drive with easy parking.
